How real are Treasure maps?

What to expect

Mental trail blazing and memory games have been used for decades to memorize texts and to remember the routes traveled by our ancestors.  The brain map will help your young adventurer to feel more comfortable taking the lead on adventures, and increase their observation of the world around them.

Treasure maps are cool, real ones are even cooler.  Self-mapping is a technique taught to some of the most elite navigators in the world, but at the end of the day it is really just a fancy way of making a real treasure map. Not only will your adventurer be introduced to the world of navigation, but they will be taught to truly see and observe the world around them.

Combining these techniques not only increases the level of fun on camping, hiking, fishing and all outdoor trips, but it all but ensures young adventurers will always be able to find their way back to where they want to be.

Who is it for

Anyone who wants to be able to go off trail and confidently make their way back to camp or any other part of their adventure trail.  The class is set up in a fun way to keep even our youngest adventurers involved, and is absolutely filled with skills for even the adult adventurers.  Ages 3 to 5 may need a little more help from grown adventurers, but self-mapping is an intuitive process that humans seem almost preprogrammed to grasp as long as it is delivered in a fun manner.
